Kia Ora Whanau
Camp was undoubtedly a huge highlight. I hope your child has had a restful weekend and is now fully recovered from camp! There are quite a few pictures and videos of the camp on the blog.
Week 9
Literacy - We will be doing a reading unit on the First World War. The intention is to turn the learning space into a bunker! If you have access to any sacks, foam and/or netting please could you let me know. We will also be completing our camp thank you letters.
Vision - We will be looking at the first petal on the vision 'I belong'. To assist the focus with this please could you send the children to school with 'something of significance' from where you come from. eg a flag, cap, tee-shirt, book, stuffed animal etc. Also linked to the vision we will be doing a visual mihi using pic collage
Art - We will be completing our self portraits.
Sport - The winter sport trials will be run over the next two Friday afternoons. The School cross country will be run on Wednesday 12 April.
