Kia ora Whanau
I hope you're all enjoying the term break. Some of the highlights of the final fortnight of the term:-
Receiving this Certificate from the University was unexpected but we felt proud of our achievement.
We enjoyed the Tongan dance with our very own Talumeimu'a playing the lead role!
Our weekly community service around the school is enjoyed by the tamariki. I know Victoria appreciates our support!
The tamariki have really enjoyed the Rube Goldberg experience (making something simple really complicated...!) This has also given the tamariki an opportunity to develop their teamwork.
During maths we have been learning about shapes. This task was the opposite of a Rubics cube. the tamariki had to make a cube with different colours in each of the 6 sides! Well done to Matisse, Brianna and Tristan for achieving this difficult task.
Have a great break. I hope the children are all practising their athletic skills! Athletics Day is on Wednesday 24 October.
