Worm juice is now on sale!

Kia ora Whanau

We are very pleased to report that our 'fertiliser' is now ready for sale.  We are selling 2 litres of worm juice for just $2.  You will need to dilute the mix 1:3 with water.

Please just send the cash in with your child and they will return home with the fertiliser.  Thank you in advance for supporting the children with this project.

Term 3 Week 1 Update - Parent/Teacher interviews

Kia ora Whanau

I hope the term has started well for everyone.  Ms Knowles informed me that she really enjoyed the week and that there was a great deal of focussed learning going on in Room 1.  Ka pai

Thank you to everyone who has registered for a Parent/Teacher interview for next week.  If you have not made a booking please could you go to the schoolinterview website and do so.  I'm really looking forward to seeing all the children on Monday and discussing the progress of the children, with the parents, at the interviews.

Week 9 Update

Kia ora Whanau

It was wonderful to see so many of you at our Open Night on Wednesday, particularly as many people had the Music Festival on the Thursday night.  I had a couple of questions regarding Parent/Teacher interviews.  They will be taking place in week 3 of Term 3.  However, in the meantime, I'm more than happy to chat to you about your child at any time before or after school or else if you want to catch up via e-mail if you can't get in to school.

Our literacy focus this week will continue to be around Matariki and for maths we are learning different multiplication strategies.  We're hoping to have a Class Recital on Tuesday afternoon and we will be flying kites on Wednesday afternoon as the culmination of our Matariki unit.

At the final term assembly on Thursday afternoon at 2.15pm there will be a special tribute to Gretchen Cocks who is leaving us.  You are welcome to attend if you want to be part of this 'Farewell' Assembly.  School finishes for the term at 3pm on Friday 7 July.
