Week 3 Update

Kia ora whanau

We have enjoyed preparing for the Gym display which takes place on Thursday 17 August at 9am in the Hall.  Please feel free to come and witness the action.  We are also running Assembly on Thursday from 2.15pm.  We will be presenting a short play.  This is the last Assembly that Room 1 will be running this year.

In maths we will continue to look at ratios.  We have looked at foreign currency.  This week we will look at ratios involved in food and garden products.  Our literacy programme will be involved around the play but we will also include some writing.  We are correctly including more detail in our writing.

Passion time is underway again, while week 4 is the last week of winter sport.  Please could you send your child to school with the correct sports uniform on Tuesday and Friday.

School photos in week 5 and we will have a class art day on Monday 28 August.
