Week 11 Update

Kia ora Whanau

The children put in great effort at the School Cross Country.

On Fridays we have a 'Community service' hour.  One of our tasks is to work around the school grounds.

Wow...the first term has raced by!  The big focus now is on the school camp which will run from 9-11 May (week 2).  The next big event after that will be our Famous Person evening on Wednesday 23 May.  Please could you assist your child in deciding who they'd like to be!  They will need to dress up as their famous person.  Please don't feel you need to spend money on an outfit for your child.

Device Safety
Please could you have a chat to your child about the importance of keeping themselves safe while online.  Device use at school is strictly for educational purposes only.

Homework
Thank you for supporting your child with their homework.  Please could you continue to sign your child's diary each evening.  The children are to bring their diaries to school each day.  The children will need to come and see me when they would like to have a new basic facts brick.

Have a wonderful time with your respective children during the school holiday.  I look forward to seeing them all again on Monday 30 April.
