  9. (Dominic/Frypan)I read a poem about how horrible WW1 was and it was filled to the brim with metaphors.Like cursing through mud I i saw him drowning and a man in fire or lime.It was very gruesome and horrifying at the same time but the was a fraction that I liked about it.I don`t know why but something about it was actually interesting like all the metaphors.

  12. I learned about diseases that soldiers had in the war. There is 3 of types of diseases called Dysentery,Amputated and pneumonia.Dysentery means a word that causes something bad in your stomach and it makes it hurt a lot.Amputated means like when you need to remove your arm or leg or any of your body parts.I learned that pneumonia means a lung inflammation or a local infection.I also learned that ANZAC means to me when you celebrate anzac day to remember those who thought for us and sacraficed their lives for us to defend their country and wear poppies to remember them fighting on the battle field.I also learned that the Western Front was fought in Belgium.I learned anzac in a story called ''Grey Angels'' with a nurse called Edna,She was a good nurse and tried to heal of the soldiers who were wounded or got any bad diseases. The last thing that i learned was that in the war they had Sandbags filled with sand for them to protect them.
